We are a small family business specializing in the restoration and installation of geometric floor tiles. We have been in business for the past 15 years mainly working in the London and Essex area. We have also worked as far afield as Birmingham, Cheshire and Herefordshire. Depending on the scale of work required, location would not be a problem.

Although many geometric floors have stood the test of time, some major/minor repair work may be required due to modernization such as pipe chases, building works, carpet grippers etc. These repairs can often be rectified by using new 13mm hand cut tiles, which blend in well with original tiles when the full restoration process has been carried out. So retaining the beauty of those original features.

Hallways with floorboards can be tiled by overlaying the floorboards with a good quality plywood board, screwed at 4 inch centres. Tiles should then be laid with a flexible adhesive and grout.

Due to subsidence and poor quality sub-bases most Victorian/Edwardian pathways are beyond repair. We can offer a full service to restore these pathways by removing the old and re-laying new 6 inch steel reinforced concrete bases. Clients may wish to incorporate their own design or we will be happy to give advice.
